There is a lot of plastic around us and I, as an artist, have decided to use at least a bit of it a second time. The orange bits in this necklace were cut from a detergent bottle. Normally headed to the recycle plant it can now take a side trip as a dynamic dash of color in this necklace along with Czech glass beads and lapis lazuli. The dynamic colors are part of what has drawn me to the single-use plastic. You can quietly enjoy wearing this colorful necklace or make it a thought-provoking conversation piece. It has a secure recycled sterling silver lobster claw closure.
