This bracelet was inspired by the last light in the evening when the sky is a special blue, the sun sinking in the west and the rich greens left to rest in the cool evening. The handmade sterling silver toggle closure repeats that inspiration with a swirl representing the evening light. The toggle silver has been chased with a line tool and hammer to create the motif. Sprinkled throughout the beadwork are Swarovski crystals, tiny flower glass beads and colorful drop beads adding texture and more color. The bracelet feels fuzzy good on the wrist and is a joy to wear.

  • Japanese seed beads, Swaroski crystals, and Czech glass drops and flowers. A handmade sterling silver toggle closure in the swirl design.

  • The toggle is Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver can tarnish. Store the necklace in a Ziploc type bag between wearing. This will protect the sterling from the atmosphere that causes the surface to oxidize. Occasionally spritz the entire bracelet with Windex, rub around so all surfaces are covered, and rinse thoroughly. Rinse some more to ensure that there is no residue from the Windex. Air dry 24 hours. The Windex procedure will remove the oils come from your skin that can cause oxidization on the silver and the frequency will depend on how often you wear your bracelet, possibly once a year. Return to the Ziploc type bag when thoroughly dry. This will keep the sterling bright and shiny. If you prefer a patina look, store where the air gets to the bracelet and occasionally polish with a polishing square (included in your packaging) and the lower areas will naturally darken and you determine how shiny the high spots are with how much you rub with the polishing square. All jewelry requires some care to maintain its beauty.
